I had one last fall in our family room, I put him on a broom and took him outside. Two weeks later I was sitting outside and I happened to look above me on the eves of the house, and there he was caught in a spider web. I ran to get a broom and took him down and put him to the back of the house and put him in the flowers. Several months later I saw him again in the driveway, I then went for the broom again and put him in a tree. I have not seen him since. I called him greeny. Enjoy your new little friend, a creature created by God!
Thank you Linda and Trish! : )Praying mantis are my favortie insect. I did carefully remove him from my lamp and place him on a tulip outside. My cat Nelson was eyeing him in an unsettling way. ; )
